ABB’s Electrification business is a leading provider of a full range of protection, control and measurement solutions - enabling safer and smarter electricity flow from substation to the point of consumption. We deliver products and systems designed to connect, protect and control electrical systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety for equipment and personnel.
You will create and complete bids/estimations/quotations based on customer specification or customer requirements/budget in order to achieve both market competitiveness and high margin for the Company. Maintain and improve the balance between all ABB units and customers that are present in the area of responsibility.
This is a Technical sales support specialist role, reporting to the Technical Sales Support Manager in Business Area – Electrification located in China.
- Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs. Ensuring a positive customer experiences throughout the sales process.
- Formulating competitive bids/estimates/quotations, considering best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial considerations for each individual situation. Ensuring tenders are well documented in a timely manner and with appropriate level of details, including full and accurate costs.
- Being in accordance with bid/estimate/quotation planning, ensuring that inputs for editing activities are provided on time and according to established quality procedures.
- Identifying potential risks in the bids, quotations and estimates and in any related contract agreements across customers/channels. Providing information and/or participating in the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy.
- Being responsible for collecting and collating all information needed to prepare the proposal, including both technical and cost elements.

- A bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Must have minimum of 2 years sales working experience in related field.
- Familiarity with LV Switchgear’s products and market.
- Must possess outstanding communication, team work spirit and interpersonal skills.
- Sound understanding of the business model (purchasing behavior’s);
- Must be good in English and computer level and have a good command of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
