I. POSITION PURPOSE:

This position is created to manage raw material sourcing for AGCO Yanzhou Operations. The qualified person for this position is responsible to develop supply base which is cable of meeting AGCO quality, capacity and supply chain expectation. The qualified person should be able to meet department targets and be able to work in cross-functional environment with global vision and global corporate objectives. The candidate should have background in multinational companies with extensive knowledge in purchasing and manufacturing. Localization experience in automotive industries or agricultural equipment is a must in order to achieve AGCO Operations objectives.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY: KEY MEASUREMENT:

? Manage to complete sourcing activities on a timely basis ? On time completion of localization of each project
? Source new suppliers and negotiate the price for the products cost saving ? Number of commodities with qualified suppliers and cost reduction goal
? Evaluate the suppliers to improve the suppliers' performance and assist the purchaser to handle some suppliers quality issues ? Supplier performance in quality, delivery and service
? Organize the audit of the suppliers and support supplier's improvement ? Performance of supplier's improvement and qualified suppliers number
? Create & manage suppliers and business partners relationship and engagement with AGCO ? Feedback from suppliers and # of active suppliers
? Provide accurate status and progress reports in ? Quality and timeliness of reports and product quality and saving report

II. FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE:

? Manufacturing operations and processes
? Supplier evaluation
? Cost management
? Price negotiation skills
? Commodity knowledge
? Experience in automotive companies or agricultural equipment manufacturing

III. BUSINESS EXPERTISE:


The candidate should be well versed in operations of major international companies with complex manufacturing and purchasing requirement. The candidate should also have good understanding of agriculture industries, agriculture machinery OEM or other related industries.

IV. LEADERSHIP/PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:

This position requires no people leadership

V. PROBLEM SOLVING:

Problems can be solved by 1) discussion and negotiation with suppliers using facts, market information, leverage, and persuasion 2) build multi-functional support to gain agreement 3) timely involvement of management and gain support by good communications.

VI. NATURE OF IMPACT
The position is critical to the success of AGCO's Yanzhou Operations and successful localization plan. The person will have to make sure that our manufacturing operations meets localization plan in terms of timing, cost savings and strong supply base.

VII. AREA OF IMPACT:
The position has impact to both internal and external customers. Having a lower cost will benefit AGCO's profit and gain competitive advantage to allow customer to enjoy lower cost and take market share away from competitors.

VIII. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
The position requires very strong interpersonal skills as he/she will need to build strong and lasting relationship with 1) supplier partners 2) multi-functional group within AGCO 3) other functions within Yanzhou Organization 4) purchase dept. members

The communication can be challenging due to different objectives of various parties involved.

IX. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
? 2-3 years of progressive sourcing experiences in China
? 2+ years of experiences with international manufacturing company, cross culture environment with appreciation of cultural differences
? BS/BA in business or engineering
? Oral and written English is a must have
? Basic quality technical background including SPC, DOE, Mistake Proofing, PPAP and FMEA development
? Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
? Be familiar with the sourcing ways and the relevant suppliers
? Independent, resourceful, sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure in order to meet demanding deadlines
