Background: Mechanical graduate, either engineer, or university level
Experience:
- Experience of product launch into industry such earth moving equipment, or any other products where daily production is more than 30/day
- experience of Machining, welding, assembling and testing, hopefully painting
- familiar or at least open to Lean manufacturing approach
- experience of work station definition, Bill of material build up, standard time analysis, lay out definition
- capable to read/understand different parts drawings

Role:
- ME role is to develop processes which can support product launch and production ramp up, with all related work definition and organization
- based on Engineering specification and drawings, and according to concept lay out definition , in relation with parent/lead plant
- Manufacturing engineering includes partly or in total the different filed of responsibility:
- Concept lay out understanding and definition( machining, welding, assay, test, material handling), including equipment Scope of work( technical specification) definition
- work station definition, including equipment, tools, fixtures, lay out, material flow
- SAP data management for related info ref to the role
- utilization of Manufacturing Execution system, where required
- Reporting, in addition of Project management at macro/micro level , depending of responsibilities
- cost control of both product( for Manufacturing part) and project , depending of task given
- training of different tools and techniques in service within the ME department, for new hires

Organization:
- depending of number of people( ramp up phase, and product launch phase), ME engineers could be required to work on specific projects, or more global projects
- this could lead to a work station definition, a machining equipment set up, a test stand set up for production units, a warehouse /supermarket definition
- the nature of the job needs a wide experience of assembly , welding, machining, and good understanding of any type of process included into an earth moving equipment
- Depending of work load, some could be elected to manager/leader position, which means, management capability, reporting, etc..
- reporting and dates to be managed into dual language English/Chinese, through system and translators
