职位描述

Develops the digital business plan (solution roadmap, financial targets) by combining the own industry domain competency with Digital competencies that are available within or outside ABB. Contributes to the BU’s Digital strategy by collaborating with the BU Digital Lead. Contributes to the ABB Ability? platform strategy by actively providing input and executing related initiatives.

Main Accountabilities Dimensions
1. Market situation analysis
Leads market intelligence analysis, esp. in digital electric distribution solutions. Captures outside market situation and opportunities, understands customer drivers and digitalization needs, and translates these into a solution-based business strategy to leverage untapped digital value.


2. Internal/external interface:
Works with GPM team to develop the digital business capabilities, complying with the relevant group guidelines, cybersecurity and architectural standards.
Ensures the swift adoption of ABB Ability? with EDCS + Ekip Up + Emax 2 All in One solution, and develops plans for legacy solutions.
Elaborates, in conjunction with the BU Digital Lead, the BU Product Management Manager and relevant BU stakeholders, a digital offering with corresponding links to customers’ infrastructure.
Evaluates potential partnerships with external companies who will co-develop on our platform (and potentially ecosystem applications)

3. New product development:
Develops a “digital business plan” which delivers rapid growth and profitable new revenue streams (revenue targets, profitability targets, project plans).
Develops and implements an appropriate business model for a digital portfolio across all Product Groups in the BU and consistently with the other BU’s within the Division.
Accelerates existing digital business opportunities in the BU – integrates, penetrates, replicates.

4. Product market communications:
Aligns BU marketing and communications on digital solutions with all stakeholders, especially BU marketing and communications.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Required ? 5+ years’ experience in the software industry or related, with focus on digitalization and the Internet of Things, and deep understanding of relevant technologies and trends AND ? Bachelor's or above Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business or related disciplines preferred

Experience in Electrical industry

? Experience in driving digital transformation, ideally in a B2B environment (software, technology, automation, energy industry) ? Experience in the industrial environment; BU-specific industry exposure (industrial automation/power products/…) preferred
? Excellent networking skills matured

? Fluency in English, both written and spoken ? Availability to travel internationally as required
