As a Lead Firmware Engineer, ABB’s Electrification Industrial Solutions (ELIS) empowers smarter business operations by connecting equipment, software and services to protect, control and optimize assets within electrical infrastructures. The business provides customers, across various industries, with end-to-end product and service solutions that help ensure the reliability and protection of their electrical infrastructure.

You will be a key member of the team in Industrial Solutions Business Line/Electrification Business in Shanghai /China country/NAS region. Reporting to the Sr. Tech Manager, HP, your skills and technical expertise will contribute to a variety of design projects.

- Review project requirement and be responsible for firmware design and configuration management in a team. Meet the project’s quality, time and cost target.
- Work out the firmware solution for power products based on micro-controller or DSP platform, including software coding and debugging, and CPU peripheral circuit debugging.
- Design the power system controller includes software and hardware.
- Write relative software development documents.
- Support Electronic Engineer/Test Engineer in the product development.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

- Master’s Degree or above, major in Electronics or Software Engineering fields.
- 5+ years of experience in the Telecom Power Supply Software Development field or relative field.
- Expertise in the Team Leader Position is perfect.
- Good knowledge and experience in rectifier hardware strategies and CPU peripheral.
- Strong in assembly or C and skills to use various micro-controller/DSP tools like KEIL/MPLAB/CCS/CodeWarrior.
- Good team work spirit and good communication skill, able to take pressure.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
