As a 设备健康监测软件销售, you will be part of the Power Grids (PG) Business and Grid Automation (BL) Business Line, based in Beijing. ABB is World’s No.1 in Power Products Business and the product manufactured becomes the key components to transmit and distribute electricity. The division incorporates ABB’s manufacturing network for Transformers, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Cables and associated equipment. It also offers all the services needed to ensure products’ performance and extend their lifespan.
You will be responsible for sales of products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities.
- Sell products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups.
- Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Prepare sales plans using company tools. Perform regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
- Understand selling products and propositions, create added value for the customer and ABB and ensure the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicate details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).
- Ensure efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.
- Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
- Manage administrative procedures in sales processes, and support collection and project management activities when needed.
- Prepare offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager. Ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
- A Bachelor’s degree or above.
- More than 5 years of experience in a software sales/business development role, preference if ever worked as presales or product sales and 10 years of working experience in IT related industries or segments.
- Preference of EAM/CBM (设备状态监测) software working experience.
- Fluent in verbal and written English (professional, clear and understood by others the first time, able to adjust style according to situation).
- Promote and displays knowledge-sharing behaviors; seeks to improve knowledge sharing.
- Open to accepting views or recommendations from others in order to achieve successful results for the customer and ABB.
- Work diligently at achieving results and able to ‘own’ a problem so that results are achieved.
- Take initiative to pursue issue resolution or suggest ideas and improvements.
- Ability and desire to work with all levels of an organization from user to C-level executives.
- A team player able to lead and follow as the need requires.
- Proactively sharing and contributing learning and experience to other team members.
- Excellent presentation and verbal skills.
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
