Position Overview:

This is a position for testing focusing on FEPC business in VG China. The technician should run tests for FEPC in Tech Center lab with test record under the guide from test engineer/lab manager, maintain the FEPC test equipment and help the lab manager and test engineer with keeping all FEPC testing equipment and instrument under good condition for test at any time. The technician also response on prototype, test fixture build and test tasks in other test location within FEPC business, and keep tech center lab in great 5S. If necessary the technician supports on site at customer and also helps his/her supervisor on lab construction. 

Job Description:

A. Conduct FEPC product testing with equipment and instrument with testing data. Report test results in a clear and concise manner with recommendations if possible;

B. Procure, install and validate testing equipment and fixture.

C. Develop and apply the technical and diagnostic skills to verify functionality of test equipment

D. Frequently use hand tools as needed to perform specialized tests, troubleshoot/repair equipment, etc. keeping all FEPC testing equipment under good condition.

E. Provide support for related tests in tech center and keep tech center in good 5S.

F. Good communication both in English and Chinese, High standards for personal performance and work ethics. Communicate with experts abroad and at home on testing and test preparation

G. Familiar with CAD/Pro-E.

H. Good at office software with Microsoft Excel, Word, etc. 

Basic Qualifications:

A. 3~5 years working experience, preferable in the automotive industry

B. College degree (technical school) in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, test instrumentation or related field.

C. Test experience on engine, engine components, preferable in fluid, thermal, environmental, vibration, shock, durability test

D. Familiar with manufacturing process and fixture design

E. Familiar with CAD/Pro-E, and MS office

F. Fluent in Chinese and English
