As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Power Grids (PG) Business and High Voltage Products Business Line (BL), based in Beijing. ABB is World’s No.1 in Power Products Business and the product manufactured becomes the key components to transmit and distribute electricity. The division incorporates ABB’s manufacturing network for Transformers, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Cables and associated equipment. It also offers all the services needed to ensure products’ performance and extend their lifespan.
You will contribute significantly to successful results in projects in Instrument Transformers Product Group/ High Voltage Products Business Line (BL)/ Power Grids (PG) Business in Beijing /China country/NAS region. You will develop or create High Voltage products, systems, or technologies for ABB′s HV Business Line by leading and managing the execution of one or more complex R&D projects to meet project targets. Coordinate work of multi-location and cross-functional resources. Lead in partnership with business managers, steering committee, product management and external parties and ensure value creation.

? Have the overall responsibility for leading the implementation of R&D projects in good co-operation with internal and external stakeholders. The responsibilities include project planning, scheduling, resourcing, budget and cost controlling, risk management, quality control and steering committee reporting. Persistently improve effectiveness of work in collaboration with other functions.

? Leading internal and external resource to qualify product as per marketing requirement within budget and requirement specification.
? Identify and manage risks taking preventive/corrective actions to resolve any quality/technical solution issues, report any outstanding issues to management, along with recommendations for resolution.
? Collaborate with the Supply Chain function to ensure that product could be sourced and reasonably ordered. Provide technical evaluation of supplier proposals in respect to product cost, manufacturing procedure and qualify control.
? Use standard processes and tools applied in R&D, update and report frequently and correctly, and manage related stakeholders.

? Bachelor’s Degree and major in Engineering with subject of Mechanical or Electrical.
? 5+ years of work experience from R&D, Project Management, better with HV background. Multi-national company working experience is preferred.
? Expertise in MS Project, Professional level ability with MS Office tools.
? Open Mind and have cooperation spirit.
? Fluent in oral and written English.
