As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be part of the Industrial Automation Business and Process Industries Business Line (BL) based in Beijing. ABB is the World leader in Industrial Automation (IA) division delivers integrated solutions for control, plant optimization, and industry-specific application knowledge and services to help process industry customers worldwide to meet their critical business needs in the areas of operational profitability, capital productivity, risk management and global responsibility. These industries include oil and gas, power, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, metals, cement, minerals, marine and turbocharging.

You will be responsible for the successful delivery for multiple projects on time, within budget, and in line with contract specifications and relevant quality and safety guidelines.

？ Electrical and automation system design for hot flat mill projects.
？ Hot Flat mill technology support for engineering and sales.
？ Lead Hot Flat Mill Project Hardware, software design and commissioning.

？ A Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering.
？ More than 10 years’ experience in a Steel or Aluminum hot flat mill Electrical Automation and Engineering. Knowledge of profile mill or tube mill processing automation will be plus.
？ Solid computer technology, experience in AUTOCAD, EPLAN or Ebase is preferred.
？ Fluent in verbal and written English.
？ Quick learning, willing to take responsibility and work under pressure.
？ Willing to take frequently travelling and longtime commissioning.
？ A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
？ A collaborative approach to working, demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills.
