For our Marketing, Sales and Product Management team, understanding the full potential of our technology and the trends in our markets is highly rewarding. In addition, helping customers all over the world improve efficiency, save resources and reduce emissions gives our work a powerful sense of purpose.

As an Sales Support Specialist, you will be part of the Robotics and Motion (RM) Division and Motors & Generators (BU) Business unit based on Shanghai. ABB is the World leader in Robotics and Motion (RM) division offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

You will play a key support role for the Sales team, preparing sales proposals in Large Motors & Generators PG/ Motors & Generators LBU/ Robotics and Motion division, Shanghai state/China country/NAS region, your strong technical and market knowledge will assist you in bringing efficient and effective solutions to customers.


? Configure the product mechanically and electrically using the available tools.
? Provide timely and professional support to Customers and Local Sales unit, covering both technical and commercial topics, including price indication and trading conditions.
? Reach assigned targets in terms of volume, profitability and mix.
? Lead a team effort in order to provide the best solution for the customers.
? Contribute to the development of new market opportunities in the designated territory supporting Country Sales Plan together with other sales professionals.
? Manage administrative procedures in sales processes, and supports collection and project management activities when needed in order to secure business and ethical targets are achieved.
? Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.


? A bachelor or master’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
? 3+ years of working Experience in similar positions, preferably from an International context.
? Fluent English, both written and spoken, other language skills are a plus
? Proactive, Sales-oriented mind-set is must.
? Position includes travelling in your assigned geographical area for short term assignments.
