1. Overall Responsibilities

• Serve as one of the key technical experts for industrial robot hardware related architecture/components development.

1. Principal Accountabilities

• Responsible for hardware design, development and verification in robot controller system.

• Verification and test on board.

• Support and solve problems during system level test.

1. Requirements

• Education & Experience Required: BS/MS/PhD in electronic engineering, Automation and computer science or equivalent degree with 3+ years’ working experience.

• Solid knowledge in analog and digital circuit design, eg. data acquisition, signal process, high speed circuit, etc.

• Familiar with hardware design tools: Cadence/ Mentor, skilled in simulation tools and debug tools.

• Experience on ARM, FPGA, DSP

• Experience on EMC debug, and related standard

• Experience on VHDL or C is preferred.

• Experience on fieldbus, e.g. EtherCAT, DeviceNet, Powerlink, etc is perfered.

• Knowledge on international regulation/standard (ISO, EN, IEC, UL and etc.) is preferred

• General competencies:
  - Strong communication skill
  - Highly responsible, self-motivated and autonomous at work
  - Good team work spirit and willing to contribute to the team’s success
  - Capable of managing changes and multi-tasks during the development phase
  - Language Ability: Fluent in both oral and written English
