As a Material Planner-Intern, you will be part of the Electrification Products Division and Industrial Solutions Business Unit (BU) based in Shanghai. ABB is the world leader in offering the Electrification Products and Systems that provide Building Products, Electrification Solutions, Installation Products, Protection and connection and Medium Voltage Products.

You will be a vital member of the planning and fulfillment team within the Industrial Solutions LBU/ Electrification Products division}, in {Shanghai state/China country/NAS region}, you will respond to internal inquiries efficiently with confidence and professionalism.

？ Manage internal and external suppliers regarding to capacity, lead-time and manufacturing flexibility
？ Communicate change on demand/forecast with suppliers in time and obtain confirmation for material availability
？ Create, update, and close purchase order in SAP system
？ Follow up delivery with suppliers based on customer requirement and order confirmation, work with customer service team to recover or minimize the impact to customer in case of missing/delayed shipment from suppliers
？ Reduce inventory by safety stock optimization, lead-time reduction, GR processing control and excess & obsolescence handling
？ Pursue cost efficiency on logistics by choosing right shipping method

？ Bachelor’s Degree on Business or Engineering field.
？ Good verbal and written communication skills both in English and Mandarin Chinese.
？ Result-oriented mindset and focus on daily execution.
？ Knowledge on Industrial or Electrical Components (Breaker, Contactor, etc.) is preferred.
？ Experience on SAP system will be considered as plus.
