As a Technical Promotion Specialist-Digital Solution, you will be part of the Electrification Products Division and Installation Products Business Unit (BU) based in Shanghai. ABB is the world leader in offering the Electrification Products and Systems that provide Building Products, Electrification Solutions, Installation Products, Protection and connection and Medium Voltage Products.
You will be heavily focused on the sales of promotion of digital electrical products / solutions, including ABB AbilityTM EDCS, Emax 2 All in One and Ekip Up. He / she needs to follow closely the trend / requirement in digitalization of electric distribution so as to create value proposition for OEM, end users, consultants and channel partners in energy storage system segment.
1. Responsible segment and budget: Energy storage system. Accountable for segment sales budget of EDCS + Ekip Up + Emax 2 All in One.
2. Understand / follow the trend and requirement in digital electric distribution solutions and is able to create value proposition and referent cases (at least 3 new for EDCS, 2 new for Ekip Up and 1 new for Emax 2 All in One) for his sales peers in the segment.
3. Actively visits the leading customers in the segment (OEM, end user, consultant etc) and join the segment seminar to promote the digital solution, create business leads and collect customer feedback.
4. Create and monitor business opportunities of digital solution together with sales team in SFDC. Regular review / push the process to meet the business target.
5. Work with the leading customers in energy storage system segment to set up demo installation of EDCS or Emax 2 Micro Grid as a way to promote to end users. Provide technical training, advice and on-site commissioning to customer.
6. Sensitive to competitor update, especially for what is related to digital solutions and timely feedback to PMM team.
7. Provide regular office training to other sales team. Technical back up for other technical promoters on above products / solutions

1. Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electric Engineering, with qualification or experience in Power / Automation systems.
2. 5+ years of Experience in Sales and Marketing. Demonstrated success in building customer relationships and acquiring business opportunities.
3. Personal leadership and excellent team player with good analytical and data management skills.
4. Proven ability to influence customers & cross-functional teams without formal authority.
5. Passionate about following the latest information e.g. technology trend, market & competitor updates.
6. Good English skills (reading and writing).
