As a R&D Mechanical Senior Engineer, you will be part of the Electrification Products Division Distribution Solutions Business Unit (BU) based in Beijing. ABB is the world leader in offering the Electrification Products and Systems that provide Building Products, Electrification Solutions, Installation Products, Protection and connection and Medium Voltage Products.

？ Manage R&D projects according to ABB project management process.
？ Lead or participate MV switchgear R&D design for Medium Voltage GIS, especially for RMU according to project requirement, prepare related project document.
？ Lead or conduct related analysis and simulation during product development, experiences of quality tools (such as DFM/A, FMEA, six-sigma) and mechanical simulations.
？ Guide or participate prototype manufacturing and type tests.
？ Be responsible for product quality analysis and solving of product technical related issues.
？ Cooperate with other departments and other TCs and LBU/GPGs in order to finish project on time.

？ Master degree or above, majored in Mechanical Engineering or related.
？ 5+ years of Experience in Mechanical Design (Switchgear design is preferred) and 2+ years of R&D Project Management Experience.
？ Good knowledge of Power system and relevant IEC/GB/DL standards.
？ Proficient in MS Office tools, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Abaqus and other related tools.
？ Familiar with Manufacture processes of various parts.
？ Excellent innovation capability, self-motivated, high curiosity and ability to learn about new technologies, Team player with strong communication to adapt to cross-cultural working environment are must.
