As a Senior Consultant ICG, you will be part of Business Function Quality & Operations Division and Continuous Improvement (BU) Business unit, based in Beijing.

As a Senior Consultant ICG, you will be responsible to provide professional consulting services, training and expertise in Continuous Improvement, business development and resolving customer related quality issues to support local ABB Business Units in meeting ABB strategic targets.

Your Tasks as a Senior Consultant ICG will include the following:

？ Maximize the value creation for ABB by supporting Division, Region and Functional Leaders in implementation of their various initiatives and actions primarily in the following functional areas: Strategy Implementation, Continuous Improvement, Marketing & Sales, Product Development/Engineering, Planning and Fulfillment, Procurement & Logistics, Quality, Project & Site Management, Manufacturing and Service.
？ Lead larger project teams including members from BU/Division teams in conceptualizing the needed improvement and supports ABB business project managers in implementing the change within defined project goals, budget and time-frame.
？ Work independently to facilitate and lead business improvement projects in ABB different business units by knowing what to focus on and what to do, and identify of operational difficulties/challenges, and lead the team in the recommendation of ideas and solutions to improve the ABB operational metrics.
？ Define potential business improvement projects by consultations with ABB internal business leaders and by executing assessments and pre-studies.
？ Support ABB global solutions by working positively and supportively with business process stakeholders throughout the ABB organization, helping to clarify objectives, and implementing appropriate actions.
？ Promote and share project solutions with other ICG team members across all ICG units to maximize best practice sharing and re-use of processes, tools and expertise knowledge to expand the Corporate Memory / Best Practice Framework. May lead a practice activity for a specific competence area within ICG organization.
？ Understand and plan complex business improvement projects and bring needed specialist know-how to projects utilizing different resources within ICG.
？ Provide training and coaching & mentoring for ABB project members, and act as sparring partner for unit leaders.
？ Guide and mentor more junior ICG colleagues.

？ BS/BA Degree Engineering/Management or equivalent combination of education and experience (Master of Science and/or MBA (i.e. Operations focus) degrees is preferred).
？ 6+ years of management consulting and/or 10+ years of business operations experience covering operational white collar processes in one or several of following functions: Marketing & Sales, Product Development, R&D & Engineering, Planning & Fulfillment, Procurement & Logistics, Quality, Project & Site Management, Manufacturing and Customer Service.
？ 7+ years of experience in management or team leading position.
？ Experience in improving white collar processes and discrete manufacturing operations.
？ The candidate would be expected to have significant background in at least two of the following areas:
a. Footprint strategy
b. L6S Transformation
c. Design to Value
d. Pulse assessment
e. Make vs Buy and implementation support for before named projects.
？ High influencing skills with ABB project stakeholders in all functions and in diverse business cultures.
？ Experience in change programs i.e. demonstrating improvement initiatives and/or culture change resulting in performance improvement. Expert level analytical skills and process focus.
？ Excellent communications skills to effectively promote the successes and benefits in using ICG services.
？ Willing to Travel (Domestic and International) (up to 75%).
