Job Purpose

To buy material according
to own purchasing group. Keep SAP and supporting systems data reliable. Fully
support production and ensure material availability. Act as window of
production and supplier to keep information well sharing.

Collaboration with Production
- Working closely with production planner, adjust PO delivery date according to production plan and ensure ORD

- Collect inventory level information from planner to pull-in or pullout PO accordingly in order to improve ITO and avoid material shortage

- Quick response production urgent requirement and push supplier fast delivery, service to sales order OTD

- Have monthly meeting with MPPO to well know the situation and requirement of production

- Good communicate with planner to improve PR reliability

- Give suggestion about materials management method and safety stock level to planner to improve material availability

- Working together with MPPO to improve process and reduce urgent PO frequency

- Cooperation with internal logistic to improve ORD for production line, push supplier to improve packing

- Collect all comments from production to supplier and feedback to supplier to improve supplier’s performance

Supplier management

- Good communicate with supplier about the fluctuation of production plan and adjust PO delivery date to improve supplier OTD

- Send forecast or remind supplier to get forecast from ASCC

- Setting buffer agreement in HERMES and cooperation with production to update it, in order to shorten aging of supplier inventory

- Attend seasonal rating meeting

- Organize exchange PO to supplier and push delivery

- Share and remind supplier to use ABB tools to improve supplier comprehensive ability.

- Maintain well relationship and announce statement to supplier

Collaboration with Sourcing

- Feedback to sourcing about supplier real conditions such as price, lead time and MOQ etc. sourcing can update them in SAP and keep data reliable

- participate in supplier audit to supporting sourcing

- Monitor supplier OTD and capacity problem to reduce impact on ABB

- Collaboration with sourcing to maintain good relationship with suppliers

Support to R&D and Product Engineering

- Actively cooperate with the implementation of ECN both from PE and R&D to ensure material availability and avoid waste

- Fast order samples for R&D and PE, push delivery and set notification to related people

- Systematic tracking materials of R&D pilot
cabinet. Push quotation and PO delivery
