Global Product Specialist

For our Electrification Products Division, in particular for the BU Building Products based in Beijing,
we are looking for a Global Product Specialist who will support the Global Product Manager to optimize
the product portfolio and return on investment.

Tasks

In this role your main accountabilities will be: follow and understand global standards, market and customer requirements
and their impact on the product portfolio; conduct valuations of market size and trends, conduct competitor analyses
including identification of product gaps and evaluates the ABB position; manage the technical specification of product
assigned and support the Product Manager in developing the business case for product developments, maintenance and
cost reduction; manage the technical specification of product assigned and support the Product Manager in developing

You will also have the opportunity to: prepare product market communication materials, including support for new
product/system/service launches; clarify product positioning within the portfolio, with defined values per product line to
address different segment needs; keep Product Group, Sales and channels informed on topics related to the product,
such as new product availability, market, competition, quality, configuration, trends and limitations; drive technical
solutions across the product line.

Requirements

You have a Bachelor or a Master degree in Electrical, Electronic or Energy Engineer. A previous at least two years experience
in the same role is required.

You have a good knowledge of English, both written and spoken. Availability for national and international business
trip is required. Team working, good interpersonal skills, results orientation, innovation spirit, proactivity and leadership
will complete your profile.
