Job Purpose
The job holder will contribute her/ himself on day to day Trade Compliance of ABB’s Trade operations within the TMC. Focus will be placed to support on full Trade Compliance via policies, procedures, controls and systems.
Key Accountabilities
? Provide consulting to ABB’s subsidiaries and affiliates with regards to customs and regulatory requirements with a reliable and professional way
? Internally organize the discussions toward customs audits/ inquiries/ self-discipline and coordinate responses to government authorities
? Execute internal audits of ABB, including all subsidiaries and affiliates, to ensure compliance with local customs rules and regulations and internal ABB directives. The job would include questionnaire distribution, on site interview, report generation, action plan designing and action status follow up
? Conduct import/ export controls to ABB subsidiaries and affiliates. SPL check and release (vendor/customer/bank, documents, payments); Embargo (Decline/Act/GDLI 50) check and release of PO/SO/Payment
? Monitor and execute the use of SAP GTS modules
? Monitor and execute the use of Amber Road, Trade Automation
? Provide training to ABB subsidiaries and affiliates, to fresh the policy update from Chinese authorities regarding trade compliance; ensure the acknowledgement of ABB subsidiaries and drive the daily operation in a compliant & efficient way
? Proactively identify, monitor, and communicate new or potential legislation that could have legal, operational, or financial impact to ABB

Job Requirements
? Knowledge of Customs regulations, including valuation, classification, and special trade programs
? Have minimum 5 years work experience in customs and trade affairs
? Excellent written and verbal communications skills
? Fluent written and oral English ability
? Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
? Advanced desktop computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Outlook required
? 15% business travel frequency

Other Competencies
? Industry background is preferred
? Experience of GTS and Amber Road operation would be an advantage
? Certificate CTLD is preferred
