A. Act as a Plant Leadership Team member and participate in setting and managing the plant strategy, and achieving annual profit plan


B. Lead deployment of tools and processes of Eaton Business System (EBS) of multiple operations on JN campus to achieve operational excellence, such as Eaton quality system (EQS), Balance score card (BSC)/Quality Operation System (QOS), Eaton Business Excellent Assessment (EBEA), Eaton Lean System (ELS)/Based on Performance Assessment (BPA), Six Sigma, 8D, and etc.


C. Act as interface between JN Campus and Eaton global OPEX organization to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing, and to ensure that government requirements, industrial standards, and local unique business challenges are captured, understood and acted on.


D. Provide line management of multiple operations with functional expertise to establish division-specific product/service quality control policies, processes and procedures to satisfy customer needs and requirements


E. Guide Supply chain function in developing policies, processes and procedures to manage Supplier Quality


F. Lead the internal / external Quality System Audit processes and Eaton Business Excellent Assessment process and drive continuous improvement.



G. Responsible for establishing and managing Hydraulics product/service quality control policies, processes and procedures to satisfy customer needs. It includes the complaint management system and the corrective/preventive action process related to customer issues


H. Lead periodical balance scorecard review process for Hydraulics operation and drive efforts in achieving quality metrics of the Balanced Scorecard (e.g. - Customer Returns DPPM, Internal Quality, Scrap, Warranty, Cost of Nonconformance, and Supplier Quality)


I. Promote Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement culture


J. Coach and train the employees to use Lean and Six Sigma tools


K. Ensuring that processes of the quality management system are established and maintained;

L. Reporting implemented to the TOP Manager and on the performance of the quality management system, including needs for improvement;


M. Promoting awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization;


N. Liaison with external parties on matters relating to the quality management system.

Education: Bachelors Degree in engineering, or other related discipline.

Experience: A total of 8 years of working experience in manufacturing, or product or process engineering, or Quality system management in a sizable western manufacturing operation

A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing one of above functions and managing people

Knowledge and experience in establishing and implementing Quality management systems

Knowledge and experience in implementing and use of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies and tools

Project management skill is a plus

Exposure to new product launch is a plus

Required Credentials: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Black Belt certification

Recommended Credentials : EBE Examiner, ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQMgr), ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
