ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Limit yourself to 8-12 statements).
A Champion and Deploy Replenishment Models such as Min Max, MRP, Kanban across all APAC Hydraulic Sites appropriate to the location and business model
B Manage Replenishment Model Parameters in the system and own Data Accuracy and Quality.
C Deploy Process and ensure all Planned orders aligned to the replenishment planning process
D Train, Support and Assist Plant buyers/ planners on Replenishment Planning process and execution
E Drive the analysis cycles for ABCQ and PFEP, ensuring that they are continuously aligned with SIOP, and are driving inventory replenishment in a way that optimized OTD and DOH
F Forecast Inventory for each location, identify Risk and Opportunities in advance and take appropriate actions to meet Gross inventory and DOH targets
G Manage E&O Inventory, Deploy processes to reduce E&O Inventory and liaison with finance to maintain appropriates reserves as per policy
H Manage and Support deployment of continuous improvement projects, both site specific and regional by working collaboratively with related functions such as IT, Customer Scheduling, Product Planning, Finance, Global Materials and Operations.
I Drive improvements in ERP Health by reviewing monthly Pulse Monitor results and helping the sites to take the appropriate actions to address issues.
J Support the annual MMA assessment and CI cycle by performing assessments and helping the sites to close gaps by conducting regular reviews
K Actively participate in the Regional Materials Management Council
L. Actively manage multiple projects that will include system/process/tool development, program launches, best practice import/export, etc.
M. Support the training and development of individuals and teams in all areas of Materials Management competencies
Basic Qualifications:
? Undergraduate technical degree
? 5+ years’ experience in Operations or Materials Management
Preferred Qualifications:
? Practical understanding of Materials Management, Replenishment planning, Inventory Management, Scheduling, Capacity analysis, and shopfloor execution processes.
? APICS CPIM certification
Position Criteria:
? Highly advanced analytical and cognitive skills.
? Experience with MFG/PRO or other major MRP system
? High proficiency in applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access
? Expertise in driving business process improvement initiatives
? Ability to lead cross regional teams in the development and implementation of initiatives in a highly diverse and matrixed environment.
? Experience of working in regional roles with different countries, cultures is a plus
? Strong oral and written communication skills (Knowing Japanese or Korean is a plus)
? Must demonstrate a bias for action and implementation. Hands on when needed.
? Must be able to take a leadership role in driving change in the organization.
? Ability to prioritize and focus on specific improvement projects.
