Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager, the Power Distribution and Controls division HR Manager's main responsibility
will be to manage the human resource strategy and direction for the division.
Additional responsibilities include:

• Providing professional HR services including talent management, staffing, performance management, and organizational development.
• Providing counsel to management team in the decision making process and HR strategy.
• Lead and coordinate the development of consistent HR policies and practices throughout the division aligned with Electrical Sector and Eaton direction.
• Partners with division GM to improve business results by leading value added people practices.
• Leads the division to improve the strength and breadth of talent through robust development practices and initiatives.
• Strong employee advocate in resolution of internal disputes balancing the needs of the business with employee needs.
• Manage professional and leadership development programs to assure appropriate bench strength to meet strategic requirements.
• Ensure adherence to meet and/or exceed legal requirements in HR programs & practices, consulting legal resources as appropriate.
• Leads the employee and labor relations processes and strategies to meet business objectives.
• Leads division initiatives to strengthen alignment to and promotion of the Eaton Philosophy.
• Represent the company as a Corporate Citizen within the communities in which we operate.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)• Minimum of 10 years HR experience in a sales / manufacturing organization including at least 5 years of management experience
• Demonstrated success working in a global matrix organization leveraging a team support structure
• Proven ability to manage responsibilities across multiple sites.
• Strong business partnership and change management exposure.
• Ability to influence opinions and decision paths at various corporate management and executive levels.
• High energy, strong sense of urgency, self-motivated and results-oriented process orientation dedicated to continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to develop HR staff.
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
• Proficiency in Chinese and English.
• Undergraduate degree in HR, Business or any related field from an accredited institution; an MBA or MLIR preferred
