Here is a new position from a global leading company, established in European. it's a design expert in electronic technical of the global or Asia R&D project team, report to Asia Role manager, have both management and technical responsibilities, you need have fluent English to communicate with global.
This position hope the applier have big R&D centre working experience, know the professional R&D working process since designing a product from scratch;
Have good project coordinator experience with global technical team;
Experience in designing electronics (PCBAs) and have experience with design tools in using (ProE, OrCAD);
Have experience in designing an engineered product for mass production;
Working location in Kun Shan (near to Su Zhou)

Responsibilities and key activities
Create and maintain Project specification & plan:
Create technical requirement specification for technical solution for R&D project
Create project plan (schedule, resource, costs)
Create and select proposals of new technical solutions:
Generate new ideas and create new solution proposals
Select best proposals for selection / decision making
Develop the technical solutions for given specs ensuring a) functionality, b) quality and reliability c) cost d) manufacturability e) interfaces to other technologies
Create design/engineering documentation of a complete component or product [SO, PG, DL, OF]
Manage Engineering team for Execution of technical plan
Manage team performance
Control & Steer the design work
Select and monitor performance of external resources (from approved list)
Write Task assignments
Follow-up of task execution & controlling work quality
Select sub-contractor
Communicate to technical stakeholders
Develop Capabilities
Develop capability
Gather and share know-how of technology (e.g. PCM, C-process engineering)
Provide practical rules for efficient use of tools
Provide support for engineers
Create performance improvement ideas
Take development actions
Create proposals for design guidelines

Entry-level requirements
Bachelor or above or equivalent knowledge in engineering (electrical, electronic or mechanical).
Min 3 years of project management experience or excellent track record of one successful major project.
Has experience of at least 5 years in independent (design and coordination) work preferably in the elevators industry or automotive or other industry developing user interfaces and electronic / mechanic assemblies.
