This famous European automotive components manufacturer is looking for a Sr Moulding Tool Engineer to join their expanding business in Suzhou.

Key Responsibilities:
? responsible for assembly, modification, repair and preparation of production of injection molds, parts of molds and / or auxiliary tools. realisation of mentioned activities according to agreed budgets, schedule and quality
? responsible for modifications by machining of mold and / or tool parts and / or repairing a mold and / or auxiliary equipment in manufacturing engineering and where required take care of the outsourcing process towards external tool shops., working according the agreed budget, schedule and quality goals
? responsible for mold maintenance and inspect ion of tool quality according schedule and applicable maintenance procedures
? responsible for maintenance and repair of molding machine and auxiliary equipment
? providing technical support regarding assembly operations and manufacturability of new and modified parts
? responsible for on-demand support to local molding department and assembly regarding production problems and / or repairs
? providing on-demand technical support of mold improvement projects
? informing people involved regarding progress in project planning and quality
? performing maintenance and repair of progressive die’s in production

Key Requirements:
? bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering, Precision Mechanics, tool maker
? five years in a similar position
? Word, Excel
? English, verbal and in written. German is a plus
? practical and theoretic knowledge of machining techniques, such as spark erosion, grinding, milling and turning
? common knowledge of injection molds and injection mold technologies
? ISO/TS 16949, Lean techniques
