Duties and Responsibilities:
1- to be in charge of the chemicals supply, inventory and management
2- to be in charge of the chemicals consumption follow up and the monthly report
3- to implement chemistry cost reduction programs
4- to write laboratory and waste station procedures
5- to be in charge of the control the lab equipment (calibration, maintenance) and communication with the suppliers
6- to support on the chemical baths analysis
7- to be in charge of the house keeping of the lab
8- to be in charge of the communication with the government Environmental Protection Bureau (EPB) and PSB (Public Security Bureau)
9- to train the laboratory and water treatment plant technicians
10-To stop any production and operation which should have a risk on the employees’ health or a non-conformal impact on the environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1- good knowledge in chemistry
2- good command in English (reading, writing, speaking)
3- education: chemical engineering or related
4- working experience:
- above 5 years related work experience in a plating laboratory and technical know-how
- familiar with laboratory equipment (AA, UV, titration methods etc.)
- related ISO 9000 and TS16949 know-how
