职位描述：
Main Responsibilities:
1. Work from production check lists, procedures, instructions, test plans, diagrams, prints, computer programs and similar documentation.
2. Receive units following designated phases of production. Inspect units for completeness, alignment, cosmetics and compliance with customer order. Set up, initialize, map encoders, compensate and calibrate to ensure proper alignment, and functionality of each unit.
3. Set up and initiate tests, and respond to commands to physically manipulate unit through designated positions, collecting data to determine operating performance.
4. Review record of data, ensure viability of test operations and determine unit's compliance with rigid standards for operation within exacting tolerances. Initiate communication of calibration data between computer and unit and perform operations to certify that unit performs within specified limits at all of a wide range of designated points.
5. Troubleshoot and make determination as to causes of errors in software, hardware or procedure. Communicate problems and make recommendations to engineering for changes through the QPR system.
6. Compile documentation relating to test, calibration and certification of unit. Print and save files as required and prepare required certification documents. Create Certificates of Conformance assuring traceability of data to ISO 9000 standards. Maintain Configuration Management binder specific to each unit.
7. Pack unit for shipment. Ensure that all parts and accessories are included in accordance with invoice.
8. Diagnose units that fail the accuracy requirements for cal/cert as facilitated by engineering. Provide a detailed report of troubleshooting process and results.
9. Recommend solutions to engineering for manufacturing and assembly problems. Participate in engineering discussions to contribute recommendations for improvements in future designs and current production methods.
10. Initiate and recommend engineering change orders to correct deficiencies encountered in the production check list and submit for approval and implementation. Generate Quality Problem Reports and track recurring problems.
11. Control inventory of departmental equipment and unit. Requisition and maintain supplies of consumable materials used in departmental operations.


Requirements:
1. Technical Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent;
2. 1 year “hands-on” experience in mechanical assembly in a high tech manufacturing environment will be a plus;
3. Knowledge in Metrology will be an advantage
4. Ability to diagnose and repair electronic systems, preferrably PCB
5. Experience with free space optics will have an advantage
6. Computer skills (especially Excel);
7. Good command of English.
