Responsibilities (Atleast 7)
1. Evangelize and ensure the creation and successful implementation of the risk management framework across SBU’s
2. Discussion with the Client Groups to know their issues, concerns and intervening & resolving their issues thereby creating a secure risk averse environment.
3. Obtain domain expertise in at least 1 domain and undertake responsibility for all engagements in that domain
4. Training the Risk spocs on Risk assessment , Risk Register and on Business continuity related aspects
5. Review contract negotiations, RFP’s and ensure that all security policies are updated regularly
6. Keep updated on emerging trends in the industry - to study its impact on the risk framework for the unit.
7. To guide, mentor and motivate the team in the area of risk management.
8. Ensure that the team is adequately prepared for security audits, client visits and security policy implementation.
9. To oversee, and provide guidance to all departments and clients on Business Continuity plan development and implementation, and on identifying, evaluating, eliminating, or reducing risks.
10. To monitor incident handling and the training/education initiatives for risk management in the organization.
11. Involve in strategic initiatives including review of committees, charting the future course of direction for the group
Must have skills
1. Understanding of risk management concepts
2. Analytical & Problem solving ability
3. Ability to work with customers independently
4. Ability to work in complex unstructured situations and plan / co-ordinate as required
5. Has to have a clear idea of not only the fundamentals of the domain area/ SBU given & also demonstrate a thorough understanding of the application of that knowledge in the process
6. Can independently handle Solution definition phase and develop / complete proposal; Defines detailed design, based on requirements, seeks reviews, makes changes as required
7. Knowledge of Risk Assessment, Risk Register, and Business impact Analysis methodologies.
