Job Summary
? The Sales Manager will be responsible for determining the sales plans and for executing the sales plan by achieving set targets that result in revenue and profit.
? Responsibilities:
? Create & execute sales plans
? Generate market intelligence to base strategic sales positioning of Royal FloraHolland
? Identify & develop new sales channels/ sales opportunities
? Build and maintain trading relationships with leading wholesalers and florist(organizations)
? Generate reports: projecting expected sales volume and profit based on supply and demand, changing trends and competitors
? Develop product mix and adjust prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand in conjunction with sourcing team in the Netherlands.
Skills and Qualifications:
? Three to five years experience in a sales representative role; within perishable industry preferred
? Strong on a strategic level as well as on field sales level
? Highly proficient in spoken and written English & Mandarin
? Familiarity with western companies is a pro
? Familiarity with data analysis and reporting
? Strong intrapersonal skills
? Flexible and agile
? Action oriented
? Proactieve, persistent, and dependable
