Responsibility:
Responsible for providing technical support to machining operation including machining problem solving, making CNC program, designing tool and fixture, giving training to operators.
Principal Duties:
Assist in the development and lead in the execution of production schedules consistent with business needs.
Assist in developing new machining capability and manufacturing new product according to company strategy.
Provide leadership and coordination for problem solving.
Provide training and instruction for both internal and external machining operations as required and assigned.
Develop program for CNC machine. (Experience on FANUC control system is necessary).
Provide technical support for production line.
Provide training for machining team to understand and follow process well.
Process continuous improvement for competitive cost and higher quality.
Maintaining manufacturing documents such as PFEMA, Control plan, WI etc.
Involve in new transferred product trial production.
Troubleshooting for problems found in production by providing failure analysis and solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering with over 3 years' experience in a manufacturing machining operation
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Process development and manufacturing support experience for machining.
Ability to develop and implement effective process instruction and process control documentation required.
Knowledge of materials and good machining practices required.
knowledge of total quality control required, knowledge of gauge and CMM required
Knowledge of cutting tools especial form cutting tool required
Knowledge of fixture design required
Knowledge of hydraulic required
Knowledge of machining process required
Familiar with FANUC CNC controller, and do well in programming
Ability to speak and communicate effectively in English required.
Good cost saving sense.
Good knowledge on FEMA, Flow chart, Work instruction and Check list.
Good methodology to solve problems.
