Duties and Responsibilities
? Perform minor Helpdesk duties. E.g. take calls, open ticket and assign to proper queues.
? Maintain and support production PC for internal customers, includes but not limited to:
o IT Standard hardware/software installation & configuration
o IT Standard hardware/software troubleshooting
o Virus and malware detection and removal
o OS installation & configuration
? Create and document local procedures, guidelines and best practices.
? Record, track and maintain equipment inventory.
? Provide training to users in supported products and technology
? Identify opportunities for process or solution improvements
? Respond to user issues and emergencies within established SLA
? Coordinate with other IT teams (server, network, Apps, video, voice, etc.) as appropriate
? Provide Support for Polycom Video and Audio products (after training)
Qualifications:
? 5+ years of PC support experience
? Expertise with Windows 7 and MS office
? Active directory knowledge including user and computer account management, DHCP & DNS
? Working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, i.e. email account, distribution list and public folder management.
? Excellent problem solving skills
? Able to work independently
? Good team work
? Self-driven and able to identify opportunities for improvement with minimal direction
? Good English is a plus
Familiarity with any of the following is desirable:
? IT working experience in Multi-national Companies
? Microsoft SCCM
? Microsoft Server platform
? Mac OS
? Network
