The Sr. System Engineer needs to have a multi-discipline knowledge base on systems, Software, electronics, etc. In certain technical domain, the expertise knowledge will be preferred. He or she should have experiences on software and hardware design, and also architect design. Going beyond, the solution and services experience will be preferred.

The candidate will directly report to the Sr. Manager of Controls, and work closely with other team members on the Controls product development.

Job Responsibility

? Managing system requirements and used cases, together with system architect, interfacing product marketing and other stakeholders
? Generate system requirement spec and provide design inputs to HW/SW team
? Evaluate functional design solutions, integrate as system solutions
? Manage the solutions with Value engineering principle to realized lowest cost for production and developments as well
? Involved into technical problem resolving. Be creative and flexible to seek system solutions to resolve specific technical issues.
? Cooperate with system testing to generate use cases / system test cases.
? Follow the development process, provide other requested deliverables like documents, designs etc.
? Keep open marketing and application engineers to address new opportunities and solutions.
? If needed, get involved into the System standardization process, focusing on regional business requirements

Profile
? Bachelors or above, majored in communication, automation, software engineering, controls or relevant area
? >6 years experience in product or system development area in electronics industry.
? >3 years system development experiences, master product development process
? Has hardware knowledge on analog, digital, connectivity, sensing etc.
? Has software experience on firmware: C or assembly code
? Product experience on telecommunication, building automation are preferred
? Strong team spirit, and strong learning capabilities
? Experience in work in cross function development team


Expected travelling percentage: <10%
