Summary
This role is a member of Mechanical Team in R&D Shanghai who is responsible to design the product for the mechanical part, work with R&D globally to better support our products during the product life time.

Requirements/Objectives
- Work closely with product management team to demonstrate the product design.
- Understand clearly about product specification, and create 3D/2D model, BOM and other documentations. Conduct design review with project team.
- Follow up the prototype and tooling to match the product design requirement, and qualify sample from vendor.
- Survey and qualify new suppliers from technology and cost aspect.
- Support from NPI to MP, improve the product quality if the defects found during the product life time.
- Maintain the mechanical design tools.
- Work with cross functional team including Electronics, Validation, Sourcing and Manufacture team to achieve the product goals.
- Tutor and coach other mechanical engineers.

Education/Experience
？ Bachelor degree or above with major in Mechanical Engineer or related field.
？ Solid mechanical theory base as follows: Mechanical Drawing, CAD application such as Solidworks, Pro/E, PDM technology, Theoretical Mechanics, Material Mechanics, Engineering Materials, Mechanism and Machine Theory, Mechanical Design, Mechanical Accuracy Design and Tolerance analysis, Manufacturing Technology, FEA, Metal Forming Process and Die Design, Plastic Forming Process and Mould design.
？ 5+ years qualified electrical product mechanical design experience and at least 3 completed projects independent mechanical design experience.
？ Be familiar with solution development process and gate review process to control project risk and improve design quality.
？ Understand clearly about marketing requirements and convert them into technical requirements and focus on the needs and satisfaction of the customers. Aim at designing high quality and cost effective product.
？ Familiar with DFMEA skill and conduct design review, good DFM and DFA skill
？ High volume practice in machining, plastic mould and metal die, familiar with quality control technology such as SPC and CKP.
？ Know well about related mechanical testing for electrical product and know testing standard including International, State, Industry and institution standard.
？ Industrial Design and surface modeling are desirable, good knowledge and practice of surface finishing.
？ Experience on leading project, plan and review mechanical design work daily to meet time to market requirements.
？ Be ambitious and able to face challenge, willing to study mechanical technology in great detail, to be imaginative, good skill of innovation. Strong problem defining and analysis ability. Work carefully and diligently.
？ Good communication skill, adaptability with different environments, good team spirit, initiative, ownership and leadership.
？ Fluent English in both oral and written. Able to communicate mechanical technology in English.
