DESCRIPTION:
Rovi is a leading provider of interactive guide technology and metadata. We are continually improving and expanding our products and as part of this, we are seeking a Technical Account Manager.
The Technical Account Manager will work closely with the local sales account managers and Rovi Client Services teams in other geographies and will be responsible for managing the technical relationships and overseeing deployment activities throughout China. The TAM will work with the customers and local and remote Rovi teams to coordinate deployments, manage escalations and provide status; all to assure a successful engagement and customer satisfaction. The TAM will also be responsible for providing local Technical Support to customers and coordinating required resources from Client Services teams in other geographies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Provide support to Sales and the Customers with technical and business domain expertise
? Provide support and assistance with our API’s and official SDKs
? Provide support in the discovery and management of customer expectations and requirements.
? Establish and maintain productive support relationships with accounts
? Participate and influence project planning and its execution, utilizing customer relationships to assure success.
? Liaise with and provide status to internal and external stakeholders including the customer, program management, engineering and delivery teams.
? Coordinate with Product Management to ingest and understand new customer feature requirements and its impact on customer deliverables.
? Demonstrate ROVI product solutions as well as discussing technical system spec and delivery items to customers
? Coordinate customer requirements with Corporate product specialist to fulfill customer's needs
? Support Client director to engage with customer and identify the compelling reasons

MUST HAVE:
? Fluency in Chinese-Mandarin with the ability to converse technically
? Excellent command of the English language
? Fluency in another Chinese language – Cantonese, Taiwanese
? Minimum 6 months of Pre or Post Sales in a Technical Account Management capacity
? Minimum 6 months of Web Application Support or Development
? Proficient in Windows (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
? Experience with Support Ticketing systems, such as SFDC, JIRA etc..
? Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
? Ability to navigate and manage technical, product and business issues within a customer account
? Ability to relate to customer issues and capable of applying solutions to meet the needs of customer specific requirements
? Strong customer communications skills, written, oral and face-to-face including excellent presentation skills
? Ability to travel internationally
? Experience in working on EPG/user Interface , metadata structure, search and recommendation technology and Voice recognition solution
? Must to have the solution implementation experience either in Consumer Electronics industry or inService providers such as CATVs,OTTs,IPTVs. Additional experience in Internet OTTs is a plus.


EDUCATION:
? BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
