Position Specification:
SH ESSI – ENG is responsible for drive failure analysis with analytic thinking. This position requires electrical engineers for the drive quality support of RMA/AMT/FTB through failure analysis.

Basic Accountabilities:
? Detail failure analysis and improvement of drive control PCB, including component, power conversion circuit like Inverter/Converter.
? General electrical engineering support, including conducting tests in test towers or jobsites.
? Creation of detailed documentation like DIVE.
? Develop the test plan for failure mode analysis
? Create test environments and test tools to enable efficient performance and reliability testing
? Execute test procedures and document the results
? Perform other duties as assigned and requested

? Correct and efficient performance of the tasks
? Complete the job on target with respect to quality, time, and cost
? Support others to achieve departmental work objectives
? Creation of patent and innovation idea

Principle Working Relations:
? Engineering and quality, Supply Management teams, Worldwide Otis Engineering partners, manufacturing, Field

Education & Experience
? Minimum 3 years of design work experience with Master’s degree or 5 years with Bachelor’s degree related to power conversion, motor drives or elevator controller.
? At least 1 year work experience in global company.

Must Have Requirement:
? Experiences in design of power electronics system
? Understanding wiring diagram
? Familiarity with electrical component characteristic for selection
? Familiarity with international electrical codes and standards
? Ability to failure mode analysis thru RRCA and make solution

Preferred Requirement:
? Experiences of electrical circuit simulation like P-spice, PSIM
? General knowledge on Elevator industry
? Experience of robust design.
? Familiarity with benchmarking and strategic analysis.
? Familiarity with the Safety Certification by TUV and CSA codes

Language: Good in written and spoken English, CET-6 preferred

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Tools
