Platform QA Engineer

Responsibilities:
? Develops and documents test plans and test cases for newly developed or current platform products.
? Building test environment setup, execute test plan, find and track bug and provide test report;
? Cooperate with SW and HW engineers to reproduce bug, analysis and solve bug, to achieve a stable Linux platform on different HW architectures;
? Linux platform SW test for Unified Communication products and solutions.
? Bootloader and embedded Linux test on the architecture of x86, ARM, PPC & MIPS
? System Performance verification with platform SW running on hypervisor/VM based on multicore/server farm scenario
? Basic software test, e.g. system startup, upgrade, redundancy, power management, system communication framework, unified management/debug interfaces etc.
? Verification of subsystems and function units for SW-platform
Qualifications:
? 2+ years’ experience in software development or test;
? Knowledge in some of the following fields:
o The architecture of ARM, x86 & MIPS
o Bootloader and linux for embedded system
o Strong C/C++ programming capability
o Knowledge of SW module test
? Excellence in spoken and written English
? Scripting skills including (Python, Perl, or Ruby) and Shell is prefer
? Bachelor or Master majored in Automation, Computer Science, E&E or related
? Good communication and interpersonal skills
? Java skills seen as an advantage
? Experience with Audio/Video Conferencing, Unified Communication industry is preferred.
