We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Wholesale Support & Branch Head, INSH Beijing.

In this role, you will:
- To maximize branch & sub-branch profitability.
- To drive business of the branch to meet ROP Sales target
- To be accountable for expenses within cost plan
- Develop and implement quality strategies and product programs to profitably grow assigned insurance product lines and maximum contribution to economic profit within RBWM /HACN and enhance client services
- To contribute to the development of a favorable market position through maintaining good local relationships.
- To contribute to the enhancement of the HSBC brand name
- To ensure good relationship with each function of Head Office
- To ensure service standards delivered to customer in accordance with head office standards.
- Co-work with Distribution Sales Management team to ensure sales team completion of all sales/business development activity documentation to provide a record for performance tracking and assist in targeting future sales efforts
- Consolidate RBWM/HACN feedback and give recommendations to streamline process to ensure smooth and efficient product design, underwriting, and new business process
- Work with CEO to effectively deliver and implement strategies and direction, Ensure business partners achieve insurance sales goals and strategies, communicates sales results and activities to Wealth Insurance & Protection Head
- Collaborate with both internal and external counterparties to align local, regional, and group initiatives
- To create a high performance team to support our Distribution partners with efficient and effective service standards and well-trained staff.
- Supervise the Wholesale Support Team, to provide the appropriate customer need fulfillment training and management support to RBWM/HACN to achieve the ROP targets
- Fulfill customer needs by offering right product solutions through the development, implementation and delivery of sales coaching and sales skills seminars and product knowledge workshops
- Provide proper coaching and training to uplift the quality of Wholesale Supports in order to ensure consistent delivery of excellent results and provide career growth opportunities
- Encourage staff development for both team members as well as others like management trainees and interns through training, guidance and effective people management
- Promote staff engagement within the team both through team participation and leadership
- To safeguard the Company from potential losses due to non-compliance with local regulations / procedures.
- Act in accordance to RBWM/HACN sales compliance and quality assurance requirement
- Identify, share, and embed best practices in the sales process
- Ensure that the service delivered by all branches are being benchmarked and are of top quality

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- 10 years and above working experience in Life Insurance, prefer to be experienced in front line sales.
- Possess the ability to apply entrepreneurial and commercial thinking to delivering business performance
- Possess strategic thinking capability
- Commercially-minded with strong business acumen
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English & Chinese – must be able to communicate effectively both internally with Group executives and teams and externally with customers
- Excellent interpersonal skills – excellent customer relationship management
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills – able to make business-aligned and timely decisions
