Product Development / Production Process Engineer

Basic Purpose:

· Provide professional advice and technical support in production engineering and production process;

· Evaluate new/current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.

· Analysis all problem root cause in pilot/ mass production

· Provides training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals.

Job Duties:

· Educate the new/existing factory for professional set up of assembling line and best practice in production process.

· Lead and drive for continuous improvement of production performance in terms of productivity, quality, cost and safety.

· Responsible for process monitoring and improvement, supporting functional testing, troubleshooting and designing test jig and fixture in the assembly line.

Requirements:

· Higher diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent;

· At least 5 years working experience in the manufacturing process design and implementation with at least 2 years working experience (inclusive) in the electrical appliance industry.

· Professional knowledge of production process design, jig & fixture design, key dimension control, mechanical properties of different materials, manufacturing of plastics & metals including tooling, molding, metal stamping, plating, painting, and assembly process;

· Some knowledge of Injection Stretch/ Extrusion Blowing, Compression/ Liquid Injection Silicone Molding will be an advantage.

· Experience in 3D software, Pro/E, SolidWork, AutoCAD, etc.

· Well experienced in using Windows applications such as Excel, Word, and Power Point.

· Good command of spoken and written English.

· Excellent communication skills and well-organized

· Work independently and willing to travel in China occasionally.

· Good at team work, willing to take responsibility and sustain challenge.
