Job Description
？ RF development, including linear and non-linear circuit design, and all associated aspects of electrical, thermal and mechanical PCB layout and housing design
？ Design experiments and analyze data to optimize amplifier chain performance
？ Characterize and integrate amplifier with controller electronics and LEP sources
？ Identification of alternate rf components to achieve higher efficiencies and lower cost
？ Implementation of approaches to improve ruggedness and reduce noise and emissions
？ Maintain ownership of the product through the lifecycle and be responsible for improvement projects and support of field, quality and manufacturing issues
？ Selection of next generation higher power amplifiers up to 1200W


Skills
Must have:
？ Design experience with high power (>10W) and efficient LDMOS transistors
？ Strong foundation in RF, including class A-F designs, impedance matching, transformations, noise, linearity, gain, efficiency, bandwidth, ruggedness and stability
？ Hands on use of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes
？ Experience with rf design simulation tools (AWR experience is preferred)
？ Working knowledge of product development processes and transfer to manufacturing
？ Must be a proactive self-starter, good team player and creative problem solver
？ Strong product development documentation and reporting capabilities and discipline
？ Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills
？ Ability to interact with cross-functional teams and vendors to meet performance specs, schedule and budget


Nice to Have:
？ Experience in electronic and closed loop feedback designs
？ Experience in system level integration
？ Experience with amplifier device attachment approaches including pre-forms
？ Design experience with VDMOS, GaAs or GaN transistors
？ Experience with schematic entry and PCB layout (Altium is preferred)
？ FMEA and root cause analysis
？ Working knowledge of plasma lamps
？ Exposure to high volume manufacturing processes and systems
？ Experience using Jmp, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, LabView, Visual Basic, Microsoft Access

Qualifications:
？ Bachelors or Masters degree in electronics or equivalent ?
？ 5+ years experience in rf product development ?
？ Strong analytical skills including statistical analysis and problem solving ?
？ Fluent in Mandarin and English
