职位描述
Summary
? Manage an experienced hardware engineering team as an experienced product developer himself/herself.
? Navigate a multidisciplinary environment and drive the team to champion innovative and cost effective design solutions.
? Both enable EE staff performance and contribute personally to the success of a broad range of programs in RF and digital based technology.
Requirements/Objectives
? Work as a senior team member/technical lead on developing application hardware for system product.
? Activities are self-determined and involve the assessment and resolution of complex problems at the project/functional level.
? Lead a project, make decisions, solve complex issues, analyze the requirements, breakdown to high level designs, select key components, and write detailed design documentation.
? Properly resource the Product Development department to meet all of the company’s product development objectives, currently and for the future.
? Contribute to the R&D development process from electronics and system engineering perspective
? Develop schematics with CAD software.
? Design PCB circuit board utilizing Microprocessors, Network Processors, FPGA/CPLD, Memory, Interface ICs.
? Train, mentor, develop, motivate, review, evaluate and guide the product development team members to achieve their personal growth objectives and towards maximizing the company’s product, sales and profitability objectives.
? Working with other departments to streamline communication and make the team more productive.
Education/Experience
? MS or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
? A Minimum of 8 to 10 years’ hardware product development experience; full cycle development experience
? Good verbal, interpersonal, and technical leadership skills.
? Proficiency in digital and analog circuit design for communication application, or security system or other similar system is required.
? Design experience of RF transmitters, receivers, and analog electronics
? Design experience with EMI and EMC compliance is required
? Design experience with FPGA, CPLD
? Extensive vendor relationship and design for cost reduction experience for large volume product manufacture are desirable.
? Knowledge of appropriate design, manufacturing, and reliability considerations.
? Experience in writing firmware (C, C++ and assembly)
? Experience in RFID development is a huge plus.
? Knowledge and experience with Sustaining Engineering.
? Excellent written and spoken English/Chinese.
? Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
? Independent, self-motivated, responsible and able to meet tight deadlines.
? Willing to travel
