职位描述

OPERATIONAL
1. Manage day to day function of purchasing department.
2. Ensure that the order is adherence to company’s regulation and procedure.
3. Support and coordinate with other department for smooth functioning of departmental activity.
4. Prepare, monitor and control department plan and budget.
5. Ensure the record/tracking system is in place and maintained.
6. Undertake vendor analysis and develop new vendor.
7. Proactively ensure all suppliers adhere to the agreed service level.
8. Introduce cost cutting measures.
9. Review and process claim against supplier if necessary.
10. Follow through outstanding back order if any.
11. Localize more products to regional supplier.
12. Manage and develop a solid relationship with suppliers to reduce cost and ensure effective support.
13. Oversee continuous improvement initiatives to drive the purchasing process.
14. Precise monitoring of stock level, reorder quantity and timing of deliveries.
15. Provide leadership to the team, supervise and motivate team using self expertise.
16. Demonstrate creditability to win the confidence and support from management, suppliers and business partners.
17. Provide assistance to all departments as required.


GENERAL
1. Report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform and nametag at all times.
2. Maintains high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
3. Attends briefings and meetings as requested.
4. Conducts inspections of the Spa areas as directed.
5. Has a complete understanding of the company’s procedures in respect to health, hygiene and safety.
6. Reports and sends lost property to the Housekeeping office and Security office, in accordance with hotel’s procedures.
7. Attends all scheduled training, even if this should fall outside of regular working hours.
8. Performs any other reasonable tasks as directed by the superior.

1. Achievement of the goals and objectives of Banyan Tree Spa.
2. Accuracy of documentation and reports.
3. Punctuality of reports submission.
4. Effective and efficient shipment handling.
5. On time order delivery and correctness.
6. Improvement on overall performance, skills and attitudes.
7. Willingness and possess ability to offer support to the other department/colleagues in the area of coordination.
8. Possess self-commitment in the area in charge and to the company as a whole.
9. The feedback from other business units in the area of work coordination.
