Role Summary/Purpose
The Service Engineer position is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of specific service product features, technical publications, training, global parts availability, or service process validation. The role will be involved in the full life cycle of the product from definition to verification/validation and installed base support.
Essential Responsibilities
• Drive customer complaints handling. Track and solve design quality issues timely,
• Provide top level service support to global OLC (On-Line-Center) engineers and Service Engineers
• Identify opportunities to improve design quality in new design based on IB quality feedback and user needs collection.
• Handle root cause of field problem investigation and drive corrective and preventive action.
• Review and execute verification/Validation work for newly designed products.
• Train Field Service Engineers
• Lead field recall program (Field Modification Instruction) and track the 100% execution.
• Support NPI program for verification and installation
• Release field service note
• Support manufacture for key issue.
• On-site hospital support for serious field complaint
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor or Master of Engineering in Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering/Computer Science, or Bio-medical Engineering.
• Have comprehensive background of Engineering.
• One or more of following experiences are desired.
• 3 + years product development experience, preferably for large and complex devices
• or rich service experience on large equipment or complex medical equipments
• or 2 years+ working experience in global companies.
• Knowledge of quality control and statistics.
• Strong customer sense, style of quick driving tasks.
• Strong technology and process background in global companies.
• Strong capability to face challenge and solve complicated problem.
• Good Communications and proficient written and Spoken English.
• Team player with boundless spirit.
• Readiness on travel.
