Responsibilities:

· Develops, implements and updates procurement strategic supply plan to drive total cost competitiveness with a focus on alignment with R&D projects agenda, Surety of Site Services. SABIC business growth related professional services procurement. Maintains regular contact with direct manager, global category managers, finance, R&D lab managers, and technology/project leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure category strategy and procurement services are aligned to their needs.

· Engages supply base to leverage supplier innovations to ultimately meet customer needs. Monitor upcoming trends in political or legal legislations in order to anticipate new requirements. Liaise with Other regional Markets Team to ensure development and leverage of global suppliers where applicable.

· Conducts supplier contract negotiations to ensure compliance, value creation and optimizes costs with a balanced view of surety of supply and growth. Establishes surety of supply programs with a focus on professional services and working capital. Works with various stakeholders / specialists to ensure data integrity within procurement systems and processes.

· Manages supplier compliance with corporate procurement standards and policies. Leads supplier qualification projects to ensure multifunctional compliance with corporate policies and standards. Oversees and engages vendors to ensure services are aligned to changing needs of customers, identifies new business opportunities, drives root cause analysis for improvement and provides dispute resolutions.

· Manages the day-to-day procurement of professional service category function, providing expertise, encouraging and ensuring cross-functional teamwork, aligning work processes in order to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets and objectives in a motivated work environment. Liaises and coordinates with internal and external parties at the appropriate levels to support and ensure execution and smooth flow of the organization’s business.

· Oversees monthly, quarterly and year-end validation of professional services category purchasing as per established financial practices and procedures. Provides short and long term forecasts for critical raw content/complexity to business teams with frequent cost and market intelligence updates. Oversees delivery of standardized management reporting as per request and in accordance with defined reporting schedule.

· Analyzes and benchmarks performance with other regions of existing regional-specific systems, processes, guideline, performs required upgrades, ensures corrective actions are taken to enable best-in-class service offerings within the global procurement strategy. Continuously finds opportunities to make the function’s processes more efficient and effective over the period, and share these with peers as well as procurement leadership.
