General

Job Title: IT Project Manager
Country & Unit: GIS
Reporting Line: GIS PMO
Location: Shanghai Zhangjiang

Role Purpose
? Plan, manage, execute and support China Country Data Center Project
? Act as contact point for with internal service line, external service provider for the delivery of the project.
? Report status of the project locally and globally.

Major Accountabilities

? Project Management on quality, timeliness and cost of the deliverables.
? Report project status and issues where help is needed to IT Manager.
? Make sure project deliverables are in compliance with Novartis technology, quality and security standards where applicable.
? Make sure Project documentation are compliance with Novartis project management methodology.
? Ensures that all services are delivered in accordance with agreed Service Level and/or project plans.
? Close follow up/coordination with Global team/local team on all aspect of project.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS / MEASURES OF SUCCESS
? Adhere to defined management and delivery processes for IT Infra projects and other policies relevant to the project scope (e.g. HW/SW standards, CSV, Information Protection).
? Project results are delivered according to agreed quality and schedules while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Ideal Background

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in the field of Computer science or relevant discipline is required.
Experience:
? Excellent English skills (spoken and written)
? Has successfully managed one or more small to medium sized IT project from start to completion.
? Sound knowledge and hands on experience of WAN, LAN, Wireless network, PC, Servers, and Microsoft technologies
? Advanced knowledge of Project Management methodology
? Computer system validation or GxP knowledge will be an advantage
? Good communication skills. Ideally possess vendor management experience
