Job Scope:
-Develop software for embedded processors for optical networking(PON). Applications include voice, video, and data services in gigabit passive optical networks. Software includes device drivers, RTOS, BSP, and board level development; OAM and control plane messaging; L3/L2 routing, bridging, and link protocols, including IEEE 802 family.
-Design, develop, test, debug and integrate using C/C++/C# and assembly languages with in-circuit and JTAG emulators. Be familiar with Linux development environment.
-Document work in accordance with the company’s development lifecycle requirements.
-Provide support for investigations and resolution of customer-reported issues.
-Work collaboratively with a distributed team.

Requirements:
-Position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS or Engineering, and 5+ years of experience in telecom/network sector.
-Experience in protocol families including IPv4, IPv6, IEEE 802 Ethernet is helpful.
