Job Responsibility:

Sr. Manager of Module possess excellent knowledge of solar module fabrication techniques, solar modules materials as well as solar module reliability. Responsible for optimal solar module solution for particular cell structure, assist in smooth transfer to high volume manufacturing and ensure high volume manufacturing attains specific yields/specifications.

1) select the materials for solar module (panel) fabrication, define the specs for solar module (panel) in order to maximize the performance.

2) define the solar module (panel) manufacturing processes, define quality control of incoming materials plus outgoing modules and setup various inline or monitor controls.

3) expert of solar module (panel) performance in terms of solar conversion efficiency, electrical performance and reliability.

4) Ensure proper transfer of module fabrication to high volume manufacture. Able to establish new high volume module manufacturing line or work with contract manufacturers to setup module line.

5) Able to write detail/report production report regard various yield at incoming BOM, inline checks and final inspection.

Job Requirement:

1) The job requires travel to vicinity of module manufacturing line.

2) 5-7 years of experience in solar module development or fabrication is required.

3) Excellent understanding of solar module fabrication process as well as the toolsets for stringing/tabbing, layout, lamination, sealing and framing.

4) User level in various metrology/analytical toolsets for module reliability.

5) Experience in solar module UL/TUV certification procedure and methodology.

6) Able to managed projects as well as module manufacturing CMs.

7) Able to read/interpret documents such operating and maintenance instructions of various solar module toolsets.

8) Able to write basic operating procedures for various solar module toolsets.
