Major Responsibility (Functions/Duties):

1. New supplier sourcing, as per requirement from new product development or existing supplier phase-out

2. Existing supplier management, including supplier management process discussion, implementation and follow up, aiming to improve total supply chain value (costing, delivery, quality, service and technical support etc)

a) Working with SQE to improve supply quality

b) Working with buyer to improve on-time-delivery

c) Taking lead in costing optimization program

3. NPI support, working with engineering team to provide supply chain support for new product development

4. Commodity strategy.

a) Owner of regional strategy for designated commodity,

b) Working with global commodity leader for global commodity strategy discussion and implementation.

c) Cross management for designated commodity for multiple plants in China.
