Responsibilities

Under the direction of the China National Sales Manager, develop and execute effective technical training and support programs that align to the Sales Strategy for A-dec China.

1.Assure successful and cost effective technical training of A-dec personnel, dealers, and school and government service personnel by designing, implementing, conducting, reviewing and modifying technical training programs.
2.Contribute to the sales effort through direct contact with people at the dealer-level. In the training environment, the incumbent's knowledge of competitive products allows effective answers regarding adapting A-dec parts to competitive equipment, etc.
3.Contribute to effective communication and problem solving with Area Managers through researching and answering technical questions asked by the Area Managers and customers.
4.At industry trade shows: lead training activities; provide assistance in set-up and take-down of A-dec product displays; assist A-dec representatives on the show floor by answering doctors' and dealers' questions; and, in general, explaining features of A-dec equipment.
5.Provide assistance to the Product Managers with the installation and removal of user test products.
6.Supervise support staff of technicians: Monitor and measure work activity to achieve departmental goals and activities which support of the corporate objectives; Strive to maintain an engaged workforce by providing and environment that fosters creativity, teamwork and quality communication.
7.Contribute to an environment of self-sustaining, continuous improvement consistent with corporate objectives by participating in activities designed to improve throughput times and eliminate waste in a manner that is measurable and provides value to the product and/or service that is delivered.
8.Contribute to A-dec's reputation for providing effective service by coordinating special projects as requested.
9.Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

1.Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin Chinese & English, orally and in writing.
2.Demonstrates good organizational skills and the ability to manage time and resources effectively.
3.Demonstrates ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
4.Must be able to commit to extensive travel (50-60%).
5.Demonstrated training experience at a professional level including at least three years of face to face stand up instruction taught to large groups (minimum of 8 – 10 people) using training aids and materials for classes at least 3 days in length.
6.Manage and coordinate resources, multiple and diverse activities, initiatives and projects.
