Major Responsibility :

Responsible for managing assigned projects, by Working closely with Sales, Marketing and working directly with chain account customers to develop new product, leveraging technology and innovative solutions at competitive costs to optimize their cooking, holding and serving requirements.

· Insures adherence to the New Product Development Playbook process and maintains updates through the Enodis portal.

· Supports strategic initiatives as they impact the Engineering function.

· Performs engineering calculations to determine product design, material type, gauge and fastening methods.

· Applies principals from required Regulatory Agencies standards to new and custom equipment applications.

· Prepares working drawings and bills of materials for custom equipment to meet customer’s functional requirements.

· Sources and requisitions non-stocked purchased components required to meet customer’ needs.

· Works with customers and sales representatives as required to best determine reasonable equipment designs and functions.

· Performs testing and documents results as required.

· Documents engineering changes for approval distribution and implements changes with cross-functional participation.

Requirement:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering. Three to five years experience in the engineering/manufacture of machined and sheet metal products.

· Creativity and solution development skills

· SolidWorks CAD software experience 2 full years. minimum

· Experience with electrical mechanical components

· Keen eye for detail and thoroughness

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Mechanical inclination
