Responsible for AliExpress.com/Alibaba.com/Taobao international business development, focus on affiliate marketing channels, define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the fast-growing business, by identifying the publishers segments to target, establishing critical internal and partner relationships, and driving traffic & sales for advertisers. He/she will work closely with senior Alibaba leadership teams as well as global product organizations to offer the right advertising products to the right affiliate channels and audiences, optimized for the global market. He/she will have a good understanding of the international advertising and ecommerce landscape, and be able to drive mutually-beneficial customer and partner relationships to scale the business long-term.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key member of the Global Advertising business team, helping to drive overall Alibaba Advertising strategy and business growth.
- Establish and build strong, profitable, long-term relationships with strategic partners who may be key affiliate networks and publishers as well as other strategic channels. Contribute to the overall growth and profit of Alibaba international business by expanding our partner ecosystem.
- Identify, rationalize, and define target market segments and channel strategy for Alibaba international emerging Advertising business. For each segment and channel, define the business model, product offering, engagement process, and support/operations model to drive publisher adoption and business revenue growth.
- Identify specific prospects/partners to approach while communicating the specific value proposition for their business and use case. Build and execute the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders to drive mutually beneficial programs.
- Build strategic partnerships and negotiate agreements with Ad Tech companies to build out ad supply inventory for Alibaba international Ad business.
- Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to increasing adoption customers.
·3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or partner management within the media, advertising, or ecommerce sectors.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·Ability to think strategically and execute methodically. Adept at making data-driven decisions .
·Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment.
·Flexibility to work across multiple time-zones in multiple languages.
·Fluent in English
·Bachelor degree in business, marketing, computer science or relevant field of study.
