Lead, supervise and train merchandising team in style development and order placement . Search for factories and trim suppliers. Ensure orders are shipped as per Danier standard and on time delivery. Communicate with head office, vendors and quality control inspectors all pertinent information required follow up on confirmed order status.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Organize and coordinate dissemination of styles for development and order placements. Distribute updated information to vendors on a daily basis to maintain accuracy of order details such as skin, trims, size specification, trim package, crocking testing and approval comments. 20%

Prepare sub-material, skin and garment samples for approval submission to head office. 20%

Monitor, maintain, and update data in style files in Hangzhou office and crosscheck product status with QCs to maintain consistent flow of production. 10%

Check and pre-approve sub-material cards from vendors, identifying missing items and reject below standard material prior to dispatch or start of production. 10%

Relay information regarding sub-material approval to QCs so that they can check main sub-material shipment prior to production. 10%

Source factories and initiate style garment development. Negotiate style pricing for order placement. 15%

Travel to factories, shows and tanneries/mills as required. 5%

Supervise and train Merchandiser/s to understand order procedures. 10%
