JOB PURPOSE:
Work as a Project coordinator in a cross functional matrix for Electric water heaters product development projects. Work closely with suppliers on OEM/ODM electricy water heater product development to meet Electrolux global marketing requirement. Manage and plan performance tests for current and developed new products in order to guarantee high level of quality performance. Always modifying the existing facilities to comply with legislations and standards requirements. Create and develop all the required test rigs for component reliability tests. Analyze all the reports and record products trends Study carefully all local and international regulations and follow up any new legislation. Review after sales services report, and troubleshoot all problems by defining the root causes and propose solutions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
？ Oversee design of new and redesigned components, to improve quality, function, performance and reliability while maintaining cost, manufacturability.
? Build, organize and maintain all technical knowledge databases pertaining to electric water heater, so that the quality and efficiency of our designs are permanently improved.
？ Provide design specifications to lead and coordinate supplier development programs and test qualifications, including: mechanical attributes, electrical components and software.
？ Complete technical documents required by Electrolux new product develop management system- PMF
？ Coordinate and support efforts required through the Model Shop, Test & Evaluation Lab, Reliability testing, and other product line departments / groups.
？ Assist in the development and approval of test and quality plans for designed components and assemblies. Analyze and approve test results to ensure they meet and comply with the required standard.
? Generating test plans and working with Electrolux or Suppliers lab technician to verify new product.
? Understand the certification requirements, safety, and performance test standard needed for different countries/regions around the world, understand the requirements from marketing, creating the specification for specific new products.
？ Perform products benchmarking to understand the latest technology update in the industry field and recommend innovative idea to compete.
？ Analyze existing Electrolux products for ideas of cost reduction.
？ Prepare and maintain project schedules. Prepare and present project reviews as required
？ Review after sales services report, identify problems root cause and propose solutions.
？ Prepare and direct preparation of engineering documentation.
？ Plan Lab equipment schedule according to planning department requirements.
？ Placing equipment requirements and maintenance budget.
？ Placing periodic equipment calibration plan.
？ Prepare periodic lab equipment upgrade plans as required.
？ Prepare skills enhancement schemes for lab technicians as required.
？ Review and certify lab test results.
？ Manage periodic Lab technicians performance assessment.
COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
This role requires continual involvement with Electrolux product development team as well as supplier’s development team & GSO Quality team. There are regular external contacts and communications with lab soft ware providers and maintenance company in order to grant that these equipments are working with high level of accuracy and functional, also there might be some external contacts with external testing labs or authorities to validate more tests or for extra tests.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
？ B.Sc. In mechanical / electrical Power Engineering.
？ 5 - 6 years experience, 3 years Min in Electric water heaters.
？ Lab management software capabilities is a plus.
